Last Month’s Question: I am beginning to investigate a new POS system. I have 5 shops, so I need something that is robust enough for multi locations and includes solid inventory management. I’d like to ask other hospitals what systems they are using. I’ve been interested in a cloud-based system, but am concerned this will not be acceptable to our hospital IS team due to security issues. Networking Feedback:
We use Counterpoint for all of our retail outlets within our hospital system: 3 for Gift Shops, 5 for coffee shops, 1 for ecommerce, 1 for wellness, and 1 for weight management. Counterpoint is very user-friendly and robust enough to support our current network of shops, and then some. I use Counterpoint, it is a very user-friendly system, has an amazing inventory tracking and receiving module and a very easy touchscreen retail screen that my volunteers love.
