September 2026
Your Shop. Your Month.

Your holiday orders are placed. What is still in front of you is the part that decides how the season actually goes: the reorder in November when one thing sells out, the fill-in that ships in a week, and how the shelf reads when the traffic shows up.
So this issue is built around the next eight weeks. Free samples you can put in a customer’s hands before you commit to an opening order, requests open through Friday. Three new lines just added to the network. Two vendors highlighting their holiday offerings, and a menu idea that turns one department manager into forty gifts. Plus two free nights in Dallas in January, if Winter Market is on your list.
Tell us what is selling in your shop. We read every reply.
Requests Are Open
Twenty-five brands have set aside free samples for shops that have never bought from them, so you can put the product in a customer’s hands before you commit to an opening order. Selection week runs September 14 to 18. One request per shop location, filled in the order requests arrive, while quantities last. Samples ship by October 13.
Every brand card shows how many samples that vendor set aside for this round, so check a few and get your request in early.

Finishing Touches
A display rarely finishes itself. It is the last handful of pieces, the ornament by the register, the small gift tucked beside the big one, that pull a table together and give a browsing shopper one more reason to say yes. This month two vendors highlight their holiday offerings. Watch both, then look at your own counter for the piece that is still missing.

Opening $150 · Reorder $150
Jollity & Co and Daydream Society sent their Holiday 2026 line for this one, and nearly every piece in it is a finishing touch. There is a Pink Santa Mirror sized for a stocking or an everyday bag, a beaded, rhinestone ornament collection they are calling Deck the Shelves, and an Ornament and Name Card Embossing Kit that turns gold foil sheets into ornaments and place cards right at the table. Around the register, a run of stocking sized gifts, yeti lip balm, a sock matching card game, a snack attack game, keeps the small stuff moving too.
How to style it
Put the mirror and the embossing kit on the same small tray near your register. One is a gift she did not know she needed, the other gives her something to do with her hands while she waits in line. Hang two or three of the beaded ornaments where she can see them from the tray, and the whole finishing touch table fits in about a foot of counter space.

Opening $250 · Reorder $100
burton + burton sent a straight walk through their holiday shelf this time, no script needed. A pair of cardinal figurines wearing holly collars, a trio of glittered mini trees in three sizes, a Santa clad dachshund holding an ornament in his mouth, and a Santa in his sleigh snow globe. Every piece is built to sit alone or in a small group, which is the whole idea behind a finishing touch.
How to style it
Group the three mini trees by height at one end of a table and let the cardinal pair anchor the other. That is a finished display in under a minute, and it leaves the dachshund and the snow globe free to move wherever your best sellers need a boost this week.
Here’s to a strong fall
